Position Details Classification Title: Music Instructor Pool – Part‑Time Salary: $1572.67 – $1725.85 per lecture unit rate, $1572.67 – $1725.85 per lab parity unit rate, $1258.16 – $1380.60 per lab unit rate per unit. Job Title: Music Instructor Pool – Part‑Time Department: CC Visual and Performing Arts Location: Cypress College Employment Type: Part‑Time Work Schedule: Varies Essential Functions May be asked to teach days, evenings, hybrid/online, and in the dual enrollment program. Online/ hybrid teaching requires additional campus‑based training. Special Requirements All degrees must be verifiable on a legible transcript. If a degree award date is not posted, the application will be deemed incomplete and removed from consideration. Grade cards will not be accepted in lieu of transcripts. All degrees and coursework used to satisfy the required minimum qualifications must be submitted and must be from accredited postsecondary institutions. Evaluations of foreign degrees and/or coursework are required. Minimum Qualifications Master’s in music, or Bachelor’s in music and Master’s in humanities, or Possession of a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area, or Equivalent qualifications as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.
