Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing for a travel assignment in Hermitage, TN. This role involves working in an advanced care environment where critical thinking and specialized skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Provide high-quality care in a PCU setting with a patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5 days, 1:5 to 1:6 nights
• Manage and monitor cardiac drips, insulin drips, and heparin drips
• Utilize EKG rhythm interpretation skills
• Conduct peritoneal dialysis and potentially float between PCU and med-surg floors as needed
• Perform advanced procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, and chest tube insertions
• Participate in patient experience initiatives through hourly and bi-hourly rounding

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with bipaps, high flow oxygen, and wound vacs
• Peripheral IV skills, along with experience in stroke and post-cardiac cath care
• Preferred experience in peritoneal dialysis and advanced oxygen delivery systems
