Job Description
People Source is seeking a dependable and hardworking Pipe Fitter Welders to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. This position will assist Pipe Fitters with the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems on commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience and grow within the pipe fitting trade.
Responsibilities
- Assist Pipe Fitters with layout, assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems.
- Measure, cut, thread, and prepare pipe and fittings for installation.
- Transport and stage materials, tools, and equipment throughout the jobsite.
- Assist with rigging, lifting, and positioning pipe and equipment.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely.
- Install steel pipe up to 24 inches
Requirements
- Previous construction or mechanical experience preferred
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn the pipe fitting trade.
- Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus but not required.
