Job Description

Job Summary:
Assist in preparing and dispensing medications in a retail pharmacy setting while providing exceptional customer service. Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy regulations and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions accurately according to physician orders and pharmacy protocols.
• Verify prescription details and ensure proper medication labeling.
• Manage inventory and restock shelves to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and providing medication guidance.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to optimize workflow during various shifts.
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards throughout pharmacy operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven retail pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Current pharmacy technician certification or registration as required by state.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of pharmacy software and inventory management systems.
