Our Environmental Compliance group is seeking a full-time Environmental Specialist (engineer, scientist, or analyst) to support environmental compliance, construction oversight, site investigation, remediation, and stormwater-related projects throughout Connecticut. This position reports directly to project sites statewide and offers a unique mix of both field and office responsibilities. Candidates can generally expect a workload of 60% field work and 40% office-based work, though this may vary depending on project demands, seasonal workloads, weather, and client needs. Responsibilities Conduct environmental inspections Oversee soil management and remediation activities Collect environmental samples Support subsurface investigations Prepare technical documentation This role requires regular communication with project managers, team members, engineers, and contractors. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, with the flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing schedules, locations, and weather conditions.
