General Neurologist position at Peconic Bay Medical Center (PBMC) in Riverhead, NY. Connecting with a large group of neurologists and opportunities for teaching, grand rounds, and case discussions with subspecialists is available. Northwell Health’s Institute for Neurology includes multiple hospitals with extensive stroke programs and related centers.
About the Center
Peconic Bay Medical Center is the largest hospital in Eastern Suffolk County, a 144-bed non-for-profit facility serving Riverhead and surrounding areas. PBMC provides advanced services including interventional cardiac catheterization, Level III Trauma, and NYUS-designated Stroke Center.
Position Details
Location: Riverhead, New York
Employment type: Full-time with flexibility in practice model and potential academic appointment with the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, commensurate with credentials and experience. Physicians are employed as members of Northwell Health Physician Partners.
Responsibilities
The role includes a combination of inpatient and ambulatory patient care within a multi-disciplinary neurology team.
Qualifications
Board certification/eligibility: BC/BE general neurologist.
