Entry Level Phlebotomist/Medical Screener

About the Role Each day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect will become life‑changing medicines. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and act as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations. Responsibilities Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety and team safety. Screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of experience in a customer or patient‑facing role. Can walk and/or stand for the entire shift. Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Can lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees. Can lift up to 5 lbs; occasionally up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs. Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance. Will wear prolonged gloves; 90% of tasks require this due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level1). Compensation & Benefits Location: USA – GA – Duluth Starting hourly wage: $16.00. Wage will comply with state or local minimum wage requirements.
