Be part of an exceptional environment where high performers thrive Job Openings Location: Atlantic City, NJ Job Id: 718 # of Openings: 1 Place of Performance: Atlantic City, NJ or Boonsboro, MD (onsite required) Role Summary: Designs, implements, and maintains secure, high-performance database infrastructure supporting surveillance data distribution to DoD, DHS, and LE agencies, with primary focus on high availability, disaster recovery, and mission continuity. Critical Job Functions: Design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performance relational and non-relational databases supporting Linux, Windows, and cloud platforms Implement and manage HA/DR features including replication, clustering, geo-redundancy, and automated failover to support the 99.999% availability target Conduct backup and recovery testing to validate disaster recovery procedures; develop and maintain technical documentation for failover procedures, RPO, and RTO Optimize database performance through query tuning and capacity planning; ensure resilience to outages and support continuity of operations Perform data migration and restoration testing to validate reliability during DR events; participate in periodic DR drills and failover exercises Manage and track configuration baselines for all database CIs in coordination with the CM team (Task 3), including version control, change tracking, and rollback planning Perform patch management and updates for database operating systems, applications, and firmware to ensure compliance, security, and stability Monitor and analyze database logs, alerts, and telemetry to proactively identify and address potential failures before they impact operations Perform security maintenance tasks including vulnerability remediation, compliance patching, and verification of security hardening standards against CIS guidelines Develop technical documentation including system architecture documents, network/database diagrams, and operational procedures; deliver within 10 days of COR request Support asset correlation for database systems — mapping CVEs/KEVs to known database software/versions and providing remediation recommendations #J-18808-Ljbffr Changeis
