Mechanical Engineer — ASME Code Pressure Equipment

Where: Tulsa, OK

Work Pattern: Monday–Friday, Day Shift

Compensation: $90,000–$130,000 DOE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Highlights

• Perform mechanical design calculations for pressure-retaining equipment with emphasis on heat exchangers.
• Produce engineering drawings, layouts, fabrication details, and dimensional sketches.
• Support shell-and-tube heat exchanger, pressure vessel, and related ASME equipment design.
• Apply ASME Code, TEMA standards, and customer specifications from concept to release.
• Issue fabrication drawings, calculations, and documentation for internal and customer reviews.
• Collaborate with fabrication, production, and project management to enable manufacturing success.
• Help troubleshoot engineering and fabrication issues on active builds.
• Contribute to continuous improvement focused on quality, efficiency, and manufacturability.
• Mentor junior engineers in line with your experience.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; equivalent technical education with strong mechanical fundamentals may be considered .
• Experience in the heat exchanger industry strongly preferred; shell-and-tube exposure is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of ASME Code and TEMA standards.
• Experience in a fabrication-driven or job-shop manufacturing setting preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to engineering quality.
• Effective written and verbal communication; professional, reliable, and accountable.
