Role Description The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation in a full-time, on-site role located in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and organizing legal documents, preparing and filing pleadings and motions, and managing case files and calendars. The role involves conducting legal research, summarizing medical records and discovery materials, and coordinating with clients, experts, and court personnel. The Litigation Paralegal will assist with trial preparation, including assembling exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders, as well as tracking deadlines and ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures. This position requires consistent collaboration with attorneys and staff to move cases efficiently from intake through resolution. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in legal document preparation and document review. Candidates should possess solid legal research abilities relevant to personal injury and civil litigation. Candidates should possess experience drafting and managing pleadings and motions. Candidates should possess excellent organizational, case management, and time-management skills. Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills and a professional client service approach. Paralegal certificate or relevant degree, and prior litigation or personal injury experience, are highly beneficial.
