Position Title: Remote Plaintiff Employment Attorney We are seeking an experienced Remote Plaintiff Employment Attorney to join a growing plaintiff-side employment litigation practice. This fully remote opportunity offers the chance to independently manage complex employment matters from inception through resolution, including conducting depositions, overseeing discovery, negotiating significant settlements, and representing clients in court. The role involves handling claims related to workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour violations, and other employment disputes under California law. The ideal candidate is a motivated, results-driven attorney with extensive plaintiff-side employment litigation experience, strong deposition skills, and a proven track record of securing substantial settlements. This individual will thrive in a collaborative environment that values ownership, accountability, and exceptional client advocacy. Salary Range : $195,000 - $250,000 / annually, DOE Responsibilities Independently manage a caseload of approximately 50 active plaintiff-side employment litigation matters from inception through resolution Handle complex employment claims involving sexual harassment, racial discrimination, disability discrimination, FEHA violations, and PAGA matters Conduct and defend depositions, including expert witness depositions Develop litigation strategies, evaluate case merits, and negotiate favorable settlements Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations Collaborate with junior associates, paralegals, and administrative staff to ensure effective case management Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel throughout the litigation process Oversee discovery efforts while leveraging paralegal support and established case management systems Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, strategic guidance, and dedicated representation Contribute to the firm's continued growth while supporting the development of junior attorneys Requirements Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar Minimum of 5–6 years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experience, specifically involving FEHA and PAGA claims Demonstrated experience independently managing employment litigation cases from inception through settlement Extensive experience taking and defending depositions, including expert depositions Proven track record of negotiating and securing settlements in the mid-to-high six-figure range Ability to effectively manage a high-volume caseload of approximately 50 active matters Strong knowledge of California employment laws, litigation procedures, and court practices Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities Self-motivated, personable, and collaborative approach to client service and teamwork Prior experience handling wage and hour class actions strongly preferred Familiarity with Filevine and Airtable preferred California litigation experience required Benefits Fully remote work arrangement for California-barred attorneys with relevant California litigation experience Medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) retirement plan Six weeks of combined vacation and paid sick leave Paid federal holidays Discretionary year-end bonus opportunities Potential performance-based compensation tied to case settlements No billable hour requirements Collaborative, nonhierarchical work environment Opportunities for leadership development and potential partnership Established litigation support systems and dedicated administrative resources If you are an accomplished plaintiff-side employment attorney ready to take ownership of significant cases, secure meaningful results for clients, and grow into a leadership role, we encourage you to apply!
