Assoc Clinical Development Director

Gilead Sciences seeks an Associate Director in Virology Clinical Development to support clinical trials and development strategies for HIV therapies. The physician-level role involves protocol development, medical monitoring, regulatory submissions, and data interpretation within a multidisciplinary team in Foster City, California.

Responsibilities Provide medical expertise to support clinical development project deliverables and timelines Develop and review clinical trial protocols, study reports, and regulatory submissions Conduct ongoing medical monitoring for clinical trials including safety surveillance Collect, review, and interpret clinical data for internal analysis and decision-making Present scientific and clinical information at investigator meetings and conferences Requirements MD or DO degree with 2+ years relevant experience in medicine or healthcare Training or experience in HIV medicine, Infectious Diseases, or HIV clinical research Exposure to clinical research through academic, industry, or investigator-initiated studies Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to interpret clinical data Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities Willingness to work on-site at Foster City campus; remote work not available
