Registered Nurse, OB/GYN, Ramsey, Full Time, Day

Position Summary Ensures the workflow of the clinical area and directs clinical staff according to direction from Charge RN or Physicians. Maintains appropriate logs and licensing for laboratory, CLIA, vaccines and medication under regulatory guidelines. Responsible for storage and inventory of all clinical supplies. Maintains a close working relationship with physicians, Medical Director and Management. Provides direct patient care in a courteous, caring and respectful manner. Documents accurately in EMR system according to licensure and VMG policy and procedures. Education Completion of formal coursework that is equivalent to a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing. Combination of equivalent years of relevant work experience and some formal education may be considered. Experience Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinic or outpatient setting. Demonstrated understanding of the operations in a medical practice environment is preferred. Skills Current and valid New Jersey RN. Current and valid BCLS certification required. Effective critical thinking skills (analytical, clinical reasoning, decision-making, problem-solving, time management, etc.). Outstanding interpersonal, service excellence and customer service skills. Strong orientation toward high quality, cost effective and comprehensive medical care. Effective organizational and time management skills to set priorities and respond quickly to urgent/emergent situations. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills to convey information clearly to persons of varied age groups, customers and/or groups. Ability to create, maintain and support a high functioning team; establish and foster cooperative working relationships with staff and management; and function effectively as part of that team. Demonstrates behavior that is courteous, caring, respectful, and compassionate at all times. Demonstrates ability to listen and respond in a non‑judgmental manner, with clear expectations.
