Phlebotomist I OR II - Supplemental Day and Night Shift

Job Overview Position: Phlebotomist II Responsibilities Obtain quality blood samples using venous, capillary, arterial, and line methods for all age groups. Respond rapidly to medical emergencies such as traumas and codes. Work independently and as part of a team, fostering an inclusive environment. Use computer programs and systems for daily tasks. Accurately identify patients, label and handle specimens, and transport them. Answer phones and assist with training of new employees. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid phlebotomy certification from ASCP, NHA, ASPT, AMA, MLT, or MT. Phlebotomy experience preferred. Experience working in a medical field preferred. Ability to push a cart and walk distances. Moderate to advanced computer skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. License or Certification Applicants must possess a valid phlebotomy certification from an approved laboratory certification agency (ASCP, NHA, ASPT) or one of the following valid certifications: Medical Assistant (AMA), Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Technologist. Compensation Phlebotomist I: $20.00–$25.09 per hour. Phlebotomist II: $20.00–$26.79 per hour. Benefits Highlights Medical: Multiple plan options. Dental: Delta Dental or reimbursement account.
