This role is responsible for driving initiatives and supporting processes that impact multiple Fresh Departments, including financial tracking and validation, data discovery for sourcing events, functional training, and assortment and spec harmonization. Essential job functions Develop and execute robust ways of working among Fresh Category, Suppliers, and Fresh Sourcing to leverage size and scale to optimize costs. Develop and maintain project plans, track milestones, and hold stakeholders accountable to due dates and deliverables. Drive data‑rich discovery to develop a playbook in support of planned sourcing events, using data sources such as Circana, Range Me, category trends, brand strategy, payment terms, and sustainable packaging opportunity. Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and visual reports that communicate key sourcing metrics, project updates, and performance trends. Prepare and deliver functional training within Fresh Sourcing and on Fresh Sourcing topics for other areas such as Category. Drive process improvements and standardization, and create training materials and SOPs to ensure consistent adoption and governance compliance. Lead or support the Fresh assortment and spec harmonization effort. Perform additional job duties as assigned to meet business needs and support company values. Qualifications Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis until the end of the appointment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience. At least 4 years of related Sourcing, Negotiating, Category, and vendor management experience (preferred). Proven financial acumen (P&L management) and experience interpreting commodity markets. Experience influencing others without authority, especially at elevated organizational levels. Proficiency in sourcing, negotiation, project management/facilitation, and change management. Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills across multiple media types. Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data visualization/reporting tools. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with ability to interpret syndicated data reports such as IRI. Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite. Demonstrated conflict‑management skills and industry/supplier knowledge.
