Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Coverage in Albuquerque, NM , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic technology‑focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed for security‑related matters. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, potential hazards, and/or policy violations. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access permissions, and assist with controlling access in accordance with site guidelines and operational needs. Support day‑to‑day security‑related operations by preparing reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and providing clear information to site leadership regarding incidents and/or concerns. Minimum Requirements A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. The ability to use a computer or tablet comfortably is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
