Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
• Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment to remove stains and dirt, ensuring carpets are fresh and well-maintained
• Apply floor care treatments such as waxing or sealing to protect surfaces and enhance durability
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, hallways, and other high-traffic zones through regular janitorial routines
• Assist with environmental services by disposing of waste properly and replenishing supplies as needed
• Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols
• Support custodial operations by reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment
• Assists with event set ups, taking out trash, and general housekeeping

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or institutional settings
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, mopping, and carpet cleaning methods
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, extractors, and vacuums safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, lift heavy equipment or supplies, and stand for extended periods

Shift:

Full time Sunday - Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm

Experience :

1 - 2 years of experience in hospitality or hospital setting. Senior living experience is a plus!

Starting at:

$19.00 - $20.00 depending on experience
