Outside Sales Representative

Our client, a growing leader in the commercial interiors and design/build space, is looking to add an ambitious Outside Sales Representative to their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys building new business, networking within the commercial market, and selling a high-touch client experience rather than a transactional product. This role offers the ability to work closely with internal design and project management teams, allowing you to focus on what you do best—developing partnerships, generating opportunities, and closing business. Responsibilities: Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship development Build partnerships with commercial brokers, moving companies, and industry professionals Own the full sales cycle from outreach and discovery through proposal and close Attend local networking events and industry associations to drive pipeline growth Leverage inbound and marketing-generated leads while independently building your territory Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience Requirements: ~2+ years of outside B2B sales experience ~ Proven ability to prospect and build pipeline independently ~ Strong communication and relationship-building skills ~ Experience selling into commercial or business clients preferred ~ Exposure to commercial real estate, facilities, construction, or design/build industries is a plus Why This Opportunity?: Opportunity to sell a consultative, experience-driven service Collaborative and supportive internal team structure Location: Hybrid – Elgin, IL (2 days onsite for first 30 days, then 1 day onsite weekly) Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 base with eligibility to earn a 2% commission Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance along with a 401(k) match are available Projected Earning Potential (Based on Performance): Year 1 target: $500K–$700K Year 2 target: $1M Year 3 target: $1.5M If you’re looking for a role where you can make a direct impact, build strong client relationships, and grow your sales career within a collaborative environment, please apply today!
