Prior Authorizations Coordinator

Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Prior Authorizations Coordinator for a part-time temporary role, who will manage the insurance prior authorization process, track referrals, and facilitate communication between patients and providers in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Set up processes to obtain insurance prior authorizations and manage referrals from primary care providers Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records in EHR and referral tracking systems Collaborate with operations and clinical teams to resolve issues and improve workflows related to patient access Required qualifications 2-3 years of experience processing insurance prior authorization referrals Familiarity with EHR systems and referral management tools Bilingual in Spanish Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple patient cases simultaneously Proactive problem-solving skills with a patient-centered approach
