Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Healthcare Patient Services Representative to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This contract opportunity is Remote and available to candidates residing in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware within one hour of Philadelphia. The position provides an opportunity to assist healthcare consumers with important coverage and service questions while collaborating with a dedicated customer support team. Compensation:
$18.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
Five days per week with eight hour shifts totaling 37.5 hours. The service center operates seven days per week between 8:00 AM and 8:15 PM, and candidates must have flexibility to work assigned weekday and weekend schedules.

Key Responsibilities of the Healthcare Patient Services Representative:
- Deliver thoughtful assistance to individuals seeking guidance about healthcare services, insurance coverage, and sensitive medical concerns.
- Guide callers through questions and next steps using clear explanations, active listening, and sound judgment.
- Maintain composure and accuracy while managing continuous inbound calls throughout most of the workday.
- Ensure each interaction reflects professionalism, empathy, reliability, and a strong commitment to customer care.
- Support efficient daily operations by documenting conversations accurately and following established service procedures.
- Previous experience in both a call center environment and healthcare, medical terminology, or a related service setting is required.
- Familiarity with government sponsored health insurance programs is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated employment stability with dependable attendance and a consistent record of professional performance.
- Strong verbal communication, customer service, problem solving, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to assist individuals calmly during sensitive situations.
- Ability to earn at least 80% on a customer service scenario assessment, along with access to a reliable high speed internet connection and a quiet, private workspace.
