Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Labor and Delivery\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/13/2026\n Duration: 12 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 13, 2026\n Length: 12 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and the ability to scrub for C-sections.Details\n \n Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Mother Baby unit\n LDRP and Mother/Baby work settings with 100-200 facility births per month\n Patient ratio of 1:2\n 3x12 Day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM\n Charting via Epic (preferred)\n Floating required to other units and Integris facilities within a 75-mile radius\n Basic Dysrhythmia competency required during compliance\n Requirements\n \n Active OK or compact RN license required (no pending state licenses accepted)\n Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required\n Ability to scrub for C-sections required\n Required certifications: BLS, NRP/NALS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate\n AWHONN Advanced and NRP preferred\n Skilled in labor and delivery management, including amnioinfusion, vaginal delivery assistance, C-section circulation/recovery, and hemorrhage/shock management\n Experience with high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia, placenta previa, HELLP syndrome, and VBAC management\n Experience with postpartum and newborn care, including couplet care, lactation support, and newborn assessment\n Skilled in fetal monitoring, including EFM use and recognition of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns\n Current driver's license or state-issued ID and a utility bill with matching address (within last 3 months) required for consideration\n 2 supervisory references required\n Copies of certifications required for consideration\n Additional Information\n \n Provide comprehensive care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages\n Support high-risk obstetric cases including malpresentations, multiple gestation, and substance abuse care\n Administer medications such as Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and Terbutaline\n Educate patients and families on newborn care, car seat safety, and discharge planning\n First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n Block scheduling requests are not accommodated\n Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible\n Maximum RTO of 5 days per 13-week assignment, with no holidays or blackout dates permitted\n Former Integris employees must have a minimum 1-year separation to be eligible\n Only one submission allowed per traveler across all Integris campuses\n Any employment gaps of 3 months or more must be explained in work history\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-740018.
