The Chief of the Cardiology Division at our organization will be responsible for managing all facets of cardiology care, education, research, and mentorship within a vibrant academic and clinical setting. Primary Responsibilities:

• Direct the Cardiology Division, ensuring comprehensive care and procedures for both inpatient and outpatient cardiology.

• Deliver expert patient care in both non-invasive and invasive cardiology, which may include echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), nuclear cardiology, stress testing, electrophysiology, and cardiac catheterization.

• Encourage and facilitate interdisciplinary collaborations in clinical, educational, and research initiatives.

• Exhibit strong administrative and leadership skills, focusing on the development of clinician scientists and supporting underrepresented groups.

• Maintain eligibility for a faculty position at UCLA at the Associate or full Professor level, as well as for VA credentialing.

• Contribute strategically through effective vision, communication, and emotional intelligence.

Required Qualifications:

• MD or equivalent degree.

• Board Certification is required.

• Must be a citizen of the United States.

• Possession of a current, full, and unrestricted medical license is essential.

Academic and Research Engagement:

• Engage with the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA for educational and research collaborations.

• Support and enhance departmental research goals, including the initiation of new research programs.

• Participate in and promote clinical and research initiatives in areas such as cardiomyopathy, cardiac imaging, and arrhythmias.

• Guide, mentor, and educate trainees in both general and advanced cardiology subspecialty programs.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting salary ranges from $350,000 to $400,000.

• Generous paid time off: 50-55 days annually (including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, and 11 holidays).
