Part-Time Event Sales & Community Coordinator

Position Overview

sundays is seeking a proactive and outgoing Part-Time Event Sales & Community Coordinator to generate new event business, build local partnerships, and support the successful execution of in-studio and off-site events.

This role combines sales, community outreach, relationship management, and hands-on event support. The ideal candidate is comfortable initiating conversations, following up consistently, closing opportunities, and serving as a warm and professional representative of the sundays brand.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Sales and Community Outreach

• Identify potential corporate, residential, hospitality, wellness, and community partners
• Conduct outbound outreach and respond to inbound event inquiries
• Qualify leads and schedule calls, meetings, or studio visits
• Prepare event proposals and follow up consistently
• Close new private, corporate, and community events
• Develop relationships that can generate repeat events and long-term partnerships
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and provide weekly progress updates
• Coordinate confirmed event details with the sundays operations and studio teams

Event Hosting and Execution

• Attend selected in-studio and off-site events
• Coordinate event setup and ensure supplies and materials are ready
• Welcome guests and serve as the primary contact for the client or partner
• Support guest check-in and contact-information collection
• Coordinate with nail specialists, Front Desk Managers, and studio teams
• Help resolve basic operational issues during events
• Support cleanup and complete a short post-event report
• Follow up with clients and partners to encourage repeat business

Schedule

Approximately 20 hours per week with flexible working hours. Outreach and administrative work may be completed on a flexible schedule, with availability required for scheduled meetings and selected onsite events.

Occasional evening and weekend availability is required. Event schedules will be communicated in advance whenever possible, and additional hours require prior approval.

Compensation

• Sales and administrative work: $25 per hour
• Onsite event hosting: $30 per hour with a two-hour minimum per event
• Paid onsite time includes required setup, event hosting, and cleanup
• Sales commission: 4% of collected net event sales from new events personally sourced and closed by the coordinator
• Company-generated events receive hourly event pay only unless the coordinator materially contributes to closing the sale
• Preapproved event-related expenses will be reimbursed separately

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, events, partnerships, hospitality, community engagement, or a related role
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills
• Comfortable conducting outreach and closing sales
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple leads and events
• Warm, professional, and confident when representing the sundays brand
• Available for occasional evening and weekend events
• Willing to travel between sundays studios and off-site event locations in New York City
• Proficiency in Google Workspace
• Interest in beauty, wellness, hospitality, and community building is preferred
