Operations Supervisor - ROS

Job Responsibilities Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items, determining root causes and opportunities for improvement and providing coaching and feedback to staff, making recommendations for corrective actions Support all aspects of sales and customer service to ensure world class service and operational excellence, including processing rental quotations, reservations and contracts in compliance with company policies and procedures Maximize operational effectiveness and efficiency by ensuring that staff is trained and compliant with the Rental Flow Process; drive profitability by monitoring and controlling costs May be responsible for day-to-day operational activities including opening and closing, cash drawer reconciliation and bank deposit, and others Motivate, coach and train personnel Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communication Other duties assigned as needed Requirements High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of sales and operational experience 2+ years supervision and leadership experience Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related Strong motivational and leadership skills Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) Valid driver's license with an acceptable record Benefits Paid Parental Leave United Compassion Fund Employee Discount Program Career Development & Promotional Opportunities Additional Vacation Buy Up Program (US Only) Early Wage Access through Payactiv (US Hourly Only) Paid Sick Leave An inclusive and welcoming culture United Rentals, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and makes employment decisions regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, genetic information, citizenship status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other status protected by law.
