Youth Enrichment AssistantThe Youth Enrichment Assistant is an indispensable member of the team, supporting the Manager of the Youth Enrichment Program. This role requires a dynamic individual who is not only organized but also passionate about creating a vibrant and engaging environment for young participants. The Assistant plays a crucial role in preparing an array of programs, services, and resources, ensuring everything is set to inspire and energize youth every session. On a daily basis, they engage with caretakers and other key stakeholders, skillfully addressing inquiries regarding the diverse services available. Their self-motivated and spirited demeanor allows them to keep stride with our enthusiastic participants, whose ages range from six to eighteen. They take pride in assisting with the registration process, tracking attendance, and handling various data entry tasks, all while fostering a welcoming atmosphere. When field trips and excursions take place, the Assistant is not just a chaperone; they are a vigilant guardian, employing sharp observation skills to ensure the safety and well-being of each young participant. They also help to promote and uphold safety policies and conduct to ensure safe environments for all. 40%Actively engages with caretakers and other stakeholders, and helps with attendance, registration for activities and membership. On occasion may help with outreach and recruitment efforts. 30%Helps the coordinator or manager in administrative tasks such as scheduling, data collection, work orders. 10%Actively engages with program participants to understand and report community needs. 10%Other duties as assigned. 10%Harris County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
