Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week, night shift. Rotating schedule includes weekdays and some weekends (up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period). Rotating holidays required. Float assignments to units of equivalent or lower acuity may be required, typically no more than once every 4 weeks.

Highlights:

• Work in a specialized cardiovascular ICU caring for complex cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery patients
• Estimated patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2, ensuring focused, quality patient care
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
• Comprehensive orientation: 36 hours provided
• Advanced patient population including CABG, valve repair, TAVR, heart and lung transplants, VAD implantation, ECMO, and aortic repairs
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency in required skills: IV start, telemetry, ventilator management, Swan-Ganz monitoring, conscious sedation, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and PA lines
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
• Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately upon contract signing
