About the job Buyer
Buyer needs 3-5 years of experience in buyer and purchasing functions.
- Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong proficiency with MS Excel/SQL.
- Experience with purchasing and production-related scheduling, including lead times, payments, air shipping, and working with distributors.
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery).
- Develop weekly/monthly production plans and schedules, aligning manufacturing activities with sales forecasts and customer demand.
- Analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock, reducing excess while preventing shortages of raw materials and finished goods.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, MES) to release manufacturing orders and manage inventory records.
- Collaborate with procurement to align material availability with production schedules.
