VENUE MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Facilities Maintenance ManagerLive Nation is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager for Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the venue by performing routine maintenance and repair tasks. The purpose of this position is to supplement the work of our event-day staff by providing a clean and presentable property prior to and following event days. The schedule is flexible with approximately 30-35 hours of on-site work.What This Role Will DoPerform general upkeep of the venue propertyRepair, maintain, and monitor equipment and amenities to ensure they are in proper working conditionPaint and repair surfaces including walls, doors, railings, and stairsPower wash concrete, asphalt, buildings, and equipmentGeneral grounds maintenance to include light landscaping, weed whacking and blowing between grounds servicesProperly remove and dispose of all waste prior to and after an eventChange interior and exterior light bulbs as neededHang and change out venue signage as neededAssist Venue Management Team with all show and event preparation including the placement, restocking, and removal of supplies, tables, and chairsReceive deliveries as necessaryWork with Operations Manager and General Manager to winterize and de-winterize venueWork with Venue Team to monitor preventative maintenance and warranty programs as necessaryReport all incidents and accidents to the General ManagerOther related duties to facility maintenance as assignedWhat This Person Will BringBe reliable and adhere to a schedule to complete tasks in a timely mannerBe responsible with equipment and while performing tasksAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionSelf-starter with excellent time management skillsBasic understanding of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and general laborer dutiesAbility to use common hand tools and power toolsKnowledgeable of and able to follow safety protocols for using equipment including tools, machinery, and laddersAbility to push/lift 75 poundsAbility to climb laddersAbility to bend at the waist, sit, kneel, climb, walk, and crouch as the job may requireAbility to work in extreme temperatures and high noise levels requiring hearing protectionAbility to work around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, and paint2-3 years of previous experience in facilities maintenance, handyman work, groundskeeping, or a similarly related vocational fieldExperience and certification in operating heavy machinery is preferredPhysical Demands/Working ConditionsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, walk various distances on both paved and uneven terrain; climb and descend stairs; use hands and fingers; reach, pull, push, and twist with hands and arms; bend, twist, crouch, or kneel; and talk or hear. The employee may be needed to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds or more with proper lifting techniques. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, far vision, and color vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, cold weather, wind, dust or dirt, and extreme heat.
