This travel assignment requires adapting to a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team while providing high-quality bedside care. Key Highlights Weekly pay: 2,331–2,549 per week Guaranteed hours: 48 per week Contract duration: 14 weeks Shift: 2x4 Nights Start date: 10/05/2026 Setting: inpatient Observation Unit within a hospital Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for adult patients in the observation unit, including ongoing assessment and monitoring of vital signs, labs, and response to therapies. Triage and prioritize patient needs, escalating changes in condition to the appropriate team promptly. Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies, manage tubing, lines, and devices per policy. Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic health record; ensure regulatory and patient safety standards are met. Collaborate with ED staff, physicians, case managers, and ancillary teams to coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges; participate in handoffs and care planning. Maintain unit efficiency while supporting a fast-paced flow of patients with varying acuity. Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an observation unit or ICU environment BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; TNCC preferred Ability to work a 2x4 night schedule and to float to other areas of competency as needed Willingness to work holidays as part of the assignment Benefits and Support Guaranteed 48 hours per week Competitive weekly pay: 2,331–2,549 per week 14-week assignment duration Night shift schedule Ongoing assignment support and dedicated recruiter to assist throughout the engagement Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
