What You Will Do Independently manage a caseload of New Jersey family law matters from intake through resolution Represent clients in divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, domestic violence, and related proceedings Handle court appearances, conferences, motions, discovery, settlement negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials Develop thoughtful case strategies and provide clients with clear, practical advice Draft and review pleadings, certifications, agreements, settlement proposals, and correspondence Work closely with paralegals and other team members to move cases forward efficiently Maintain strong client communication and deliver the responsive service for which our firm is known Contribute positively to the firm’s collaborative and professional culture What We Are Looking For Admission to the New Jersey Bar in good standing Prefer at least three years of New Jersey family law experience Strong knowledge of New Jersey family law and court procedures Meaningful experience handling motions, negotiations, court appearances, and contested matters Excellent legal writing, advocacy, judgment, and client-communication skills Ability to independently organize and manage an active caseload A practical, solutions-focused approach to representing clients High professional standards and a commitment to exceptional client service A collaborative attitude and respect for attorneys, paralegals, staff, clients, and the court Compensation and Benefits Base salary of $100,000+ , depending on experience, qualifications, and anticipated role Performance-based bonus opportunities Health insurance Dental and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Generous paid time off and paid holidays Employer-paid life and disability insurance Experienced paralegal and administrative support Professional development and advancement opportunities About Edens Law Group Edens Law Group is a boutique New Jersey law firm dedicated to providing skilled, strategic, and compassionate representation in family law matters.
