About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its global Christian humanitarian aid and development organization. The CFO will be a pivotal member of the Executive Leadership Team, playing a key role in the organization's growth and innovation. This includes leading efforts in revenue diversification, enterprise transformation, and the development of new commercialization and innovation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving beyond traditional financial stewardship to shape organizational strategy, strengthen long-term sustainability, and support global impact. The ideal CFO will have a minimum of 7 years' executive-level finance leadership experience, with a total of at least 15 years in progressive finance leadership. Experience in organizations with annual budgets or revenues exceeding $100M is essential, and a background in global nonprofit, NGO, social enterprise, or mission-driven organizations is preferred. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in supporting multiple revenue streams, including philanthropic, government, and earned income, as well as experience in innovation, commercialization, and leading large, geographically dispersed teams. The CFO will also be expected to have a strong executive presence, influence enterprise-wide decision-making, and demonstrate success in leading organizational transformation and change initiatives. Responsibilities include partnering with the CEO, Board, and Executive Leadership Team on strategy, overseeing various financial functions, serving as the primary financial advisor to the Board, and leading a high-performing finance team.
