Insurance Defense Attorney

Established (40+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Insurance Defense Associate Attorney in Boston, Massachusetts

 

An established firm based in Boston, Massachusetts with over 40+ years in practice is seeking an Insurance Defense Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This role involves handling insurance defense litigation, general liability, and professional liability matters, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation while representing insurers and insureds in state and federal courts.

Salary range: $120,000-$150,000+ contingent on experience

Qualifications
Active Massachusetts Bar admission in good standing
3+ years of experience handling insurance defense or civil litigation matters
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience managing cases independently from inception through resolution
Ability to work effectively with clients, adjusters, and litigation teams

 

Responsibilities
Handle a full caseload of insurance defense litigation matters
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement evaluations
Conduct and defend depositions and participate in mediations
Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials
Collaborate with partners and clients on case strategy and risk assessment
