Job Summary The Duty Manager ensures the daily airport operation runs safely, efficiently, and cost‑effectively. They oversee and coordinate team activities to create a safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Benefits Competitive pay with daily access to earned wages. Job Duties Supervises and coordinates team activities related to the operation. Coaches, counsels, and mentors employees, including issuing disciplinary action as required. Assists in recruiting, administrative, payroll, employee scheduling, and general administrative duties. Monitors staffing and overtime use and operational and financial performance of the assigned station. Promotes team‑building initiatives to develop and motivate team members. Monitors and enforces safe working conditions in accordance with regulatory requirements, Prospect policies and safety procedures, and all applicable laws. Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for the position. Qualifications High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements. Supervisory experience is required. Preferred Qualifications Two years of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry. Physical Requirements Must be able to frequently push, pull, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, lift up to 70 lbs, and move up to 70 lbs; constantly walk, stand, handle, grasp and reach out. May have to reach above shoulder occasionally. Working Conditions Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. The organization operates in a shift bid environment. Must be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment. Enjoy the outdoors on a daily basis (sun, rain, sleet or snow!). May be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions, jet and machinery noises, fumes, dirt, and dust for extended periods.
