Weekend coverage required (every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule). Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period. Highlights: Work at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma Center recognized as the best hospital in Alaska 407-bed acute care facility with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams Manage a caseload of approximately 30 patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics 13-week travel assignment with potential for extension up to 1 calendar year Free parking and scrubs provided Collaborative environment with full access to Epic charting system Requirements: Active Alaska RN license required (pending licenses may be screened but license must be in hand for offer) Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience required Acute care hospital experience required (behavioral health experience does not qualify) Epic EMR experience required BLS certification preferred ACM (Accredited Case Manager) certification preferred Experience with discharge planning, utilization review criteria (InterQual/Milliman), and care coordination Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted) Why Join Us?
