Travel RN – Rural ICU/Med-Surg


Location: Portales, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in a rural hospital setting. The RN will provide care across ICU, step-down, and medical-surgical patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric patients.


✅ Requirements


‍⚕️ 3+ years of nursing experience required
Strong ICU/Med-Surg/Step-Down experience
❤️ Current BLS & ACLS certifications
PALS & NRP preferred/required as applicable
Active RN license
Nursing degree from an accredited program
Ability to care for pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment


Assignment Highlights


✔️ 13-week travel contract
Night shifts – 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
⏰ 36 hours per week
EMR: Meditech
Rural hospital setting
Holiday coverage required
On-call available at $3/hour pager rate
