Growth Marketing Lead
VentureFizz is conducting a search for a Growth Marketing Lead for a Series A funded, vertical AI startup in the Boston area.
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (a multi-time GTM and product executive), you will be the first dedicated marketing hire at the company and will have the rare opportunity to build the entire marketing function from scratch. You will construct multi-channel inbound/outbound engines, refine high-impact product positioning for complex operational buyers, and partner directly with sales leadership to equip Account Executives and SDRs with high-converting collateral.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build the Growth Engine: Design, launch, and manage multi-channel demand generation campaigns across digital, content, paid media, and targeted industry events to build a highly qualified pipeline.
- Sales Enablement & Support: Work closely with the CCO to equip and train SDR and AE teams with pitch decks, case studies, competitive, and qualification frameworks.
- Funnel Optimization & Analytics: Define, track, and report on core growth metrics to continuously measure ROI and refine campaign execution.
- Content & Brand Operations: Oversee brand messaging, customer success stories, landing pages, and lead-nurture workflows that drive prospect engagement and ongoing retention.
Requirements:
- Experience: 4–7+ years of B2B growth marketing, demand generation, or product marketing experience (preferably within B2B SaaS, manufacturing, IoT, AI/ML, or enterprise software).
- 0-to-1 Track Record: Proven success building and scaling B2B growth funnels from the ground up in early-stage, fast-moving startup environments.
- Technical Messaging: Ability to digest complex concepts and translate them into clear, high-value positioning for non-technical or operational stakeholders.
- Sales Alignment: Hands-on experience partnering directly with SDRs and Account Executives on outbound plays, lead scoring, and lead-to-opportunity conversions.
- Modern Marketing Stack: Strong fluency with marketing automation tools, AI tools, CRMs, web analytics, and performance channels.
- Hands-on Mindset: A "doer" mentality with an eagerness to run rapid experiments, test new ideas, iterate, and execute independently.
