Business Development SpecialistGeotech Engineering and Testing is currently in search of a Business Development Specialist. This is a great position in a civil engineering firm. You will be responsible for assisting the business development team in managing existing clients along with gaining new ones.Responsibilities:Initiate calls to existing and potential clients.Prepare proposal for new projects.Generate new leaders for the Business Development team.Update and maintain contact databases.Go to meetings and functions with clientele, as necessary.Assisting with writing proposals and RFQ's.Answer incoming sales calls.Must be able to work 45 hours a week.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred.Marketing and/or customer service experience.Outgoing, pleasant personality.Professional phone etiquette.Self-starter with initiative and work well with minimal supervision.Good oral and written communication skills.Industry knowledge is a plus but not required.Teams and Zoom call experience preferred.You must be able to attend meetings in the evenings or sometimes on Saturdays.Benefits:Health insurance.Paid time off.Dental insurance.Vision insurance.Life insurance.Job Type:Full-time (Monday – Friday, 45 Hours A Week)Supplemental pay:Bonus payJob Location:Geotech Engineering and Testing 17407 US Highway 59 N, Houston, Texas 77396About Geotech Engineering and Testing:Founded in 1985, Geotech Engineering and Testing (GET) is a multi-disciplined organization of registered engineers, geologist, field and laboratory technicians, and clerical personnel who combine their technical capabilities, past experience, dedication, and enthusiasm to offer the finest service through integrated team effort.
