ROLE DESCRIPTION:
- We are seeking a skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in every task
- This role is to report directly to the Director of Finance and is based in our Los Angeles office. Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project base audits on client trust disbursements.
- Provide full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice review and timely payment processing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in coordination with internal department procedures and external vendor requirements.
- Assist with month-end deadlines, special projects, and annual 1099 preparation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2+ years' experience in Accounts Payable and IOLTA/Trust Accounting, ideally in law firm environment
- Resourceful and Motivated Problem Solver
- Ability to work in high volume and fast paced environment with proven track record in meeting department deadlines
