Automotive DMV Title Clerk/Accounting Admin

About the Opportunity

Friendly Honda of Fayetteville is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Automotive DMV Title Clerk / Accounting Office team member to support our busy dealership office. This role is responsible for processing vehicle title and registration paperwork, maintaining accurate records, assisting with electronic document management, and providing support for accounting office functions including accounts payable. Experience with New York State DMV processes, Verifi, Automate DMS, or dealership accounting is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Compensation is based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vehicle title and registration documents accurately and in compliance with New York State DMV requirements.


• Review paperwork for accuracy, completeness, signatures, lien information, and required supporting documentation.


• Maintain organized title, registration, inventory, and vehicle records for new and used vehicles.


• Manage electronic documents and help ensure office records are complete, accurate, and easy to access.


• Assist with accounts payable, vehicle accounting, deal processing, inventory control, and other accounting office tasks as needed.


• Communicate professionally with customers, banks, DMV offices, sales staff, and management regarding title, registration, and office matters.

• Competitive salary of $36,000.00 - $49,900.00 per year, based on experience.
