Merck is seeking an intern for a 10-12 week assignment supporting environmental health and safety initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites in the Americas. The role involves EHS training implementation, documentation governance, and incident investigation improvements.
Responsibilities
- Support EHS training implementation across multiple sites in the Americas
- Assist with documentation governance and process improvements
- Contribute to incident investigation initiatives and enhancements
- Support Global Safety and Environment team with operational efficiency projects
- Work collaboratively in small team environment on critical GSE initiatives
Requirements
- Currently pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in safety, environmental science, engineering, or related technical field
- Completed at least two years of college coursework
- Critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills
- Ability to implement verbal or written direction and propose process improvements
- Prior internship or work experience in EHS or chemical manufacturing (preferred)
Compensation: $39,908 - $111,111 USD
