Warehouse Picker/PackerInteraction24 is currently hiring for a machine manufacturing client in Ewing, NJ. We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Warehouse Picker/Packer to support its fulfillment and shipping operations. This role is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and shipping customer orders including industrial chemical cleaning solutions and equipment accessories. The ideal candidate takes safety seriously, works with precision, and has strong experience with detailed documentation processes in a regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPick and pack customer orders accurately according to pick tickets, packing slips, and shipping documentationSafely receive, inspect, verify, and store products including industrial chemical cleaning solutionsComplete standard shipping and receiving documentation accurately including bills of ladingWhen regulated or hazardous materials are involved, perform the additional documentation process: review Safety Data Sheets (SDS), verify proper labeling and markings, and accurately complete or annotate required hazmat sections on shipping/receiving paperworkInspect outgoing orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper packaging integrityReceive and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders and packing slipsStore products in designated locations following proper storage requirements and safety protocolsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times following 5S standardsOperate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts as neededCollaborate with production, customer service, and shipping teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on timeReport any damaged goods, discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisors immediatelyRequired QualificationsPrior experience in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment environmentStrong experience completing detailed documentation and following strict procedures (SOPs, batch records, or compliance paperwork)Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and accurate record-keeping in a regulated setting is highly valuedStrong attention to detail — accuracy in picking, packing, and documentation is criticalAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsReliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environmentBasic computer skills for order processing and inventory managementPreferred QualificationsExposure to DOT hazardous materials shipping paperwork or bills of ladingExperience working in pharmaceutical, chemical distribution, industrial supply, or manufacturing warehouse environmentsDOT Hazmat training, OSHA 10 certification, or Forklift certificationFamiliarity with shipping platforms and inventory management systemsCompensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
