Shipping and receiving associate

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Order Picker to become a key part of our warehouse team. If you take pride in your work, pay close attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing operations environment, we want to hear from you. Position Details

• Pay Rate: $22.00 Per Hour
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm Key Responsibilities
• Order Picking & Packing: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and on time, verifying them against packing slips and purchase orders before staging them neatly for shipment.
• Shipping & Receiving: Process outbound shipments via UPS, FedEx, LTL, and freight carriers while preparing necessary documentation like Bills of Lading (BOLs), invoices, and shipping labels. Receive inbound freight, verify quantities, enter inventory into the system, and safely load/unload delivery trucks. Wrap and secure palletized and non-palletized shipments for transport.
• Warehouse Operations: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Assist with inventory and cycle counts while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area that adheres to all OSHA, DOT, and Hazmat guidelines.
• Performance Goals: Execute picking and packing with zero errors, process outbound shipments on time to meet customer expectations, and ensure inbound inventory is promptly and accurately entered into the system.
• Required Qualifications
• Experience: 1+ years of prior warehouse, picking, packing, or shipping/receiving experience preferred. Forklift certification or experience is a plus.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical & Core Skills: Basic computer and math skills are required, with experience in SAP or similar inventory systems highly preferred. Must possess attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Work Ethic: Must be a dependable, punctual team player capable of working at a steady pace in a fast-moving environment.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and work on a warehouse floor for extended periods, regularly lift up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift 75+ lbs.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Shipping & Receiving • Process outbound shipments via UPS, FedEx, LTL, and freight carriers. • Prepare shipping documentation including Bills of Lading (BOLs), invoices, and shipping labels. • Receive inbound freight, verify quantities against purchase orders, and enter inventory into the system. • Load and unload freight from delivery trucks safely and efficiently. • Wrap and secure palletized and non-palletized shipments for transport.

Warehouse Operations • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times. • Follow all OSHA, DOT, and Hazmat handling guidelines. • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.

PERFORMANCE GOALS • All orders picked and packed accurately with zero errors. • Outbound shipments processed on time to meet customer delivery expectations. • Inbound inventory received, verified, and entered into the system accurately and promptly.
