Accounts Receivable Specialist

Responsibilities

A client of Kforce, a specialty manufacturing company in North Andover, MA, is seeking an experienced full-cycle Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its accounting team. This individual will be responsible for managing a high volume of AR activity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be sharp, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities while ensuring invoices, payments, cash receipts, and customer deductions are processed accurately and on time.Summary:We are looking for someone who can get up to speed quickly and immediately contribute to the AR function. The strongest candidate will have hands-on experience managing a high-volume receivables workload, understand the importance of accuracy and timeliness, and be comfortable navigating deductions and customer portals.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable activities
• Prepare and process a high volume of customer invoices accurately and within required timelines
• Process and apply cash receipts in NetSuite
• Handle remote check deposits to the bank
• Research, process, and reconcile customer deductions
• Work within various customer portals to manage deductions and related AR activity
• Research discrepancies and help resolve outstanding customer/account issues
• Maintain accurate AR records and supporting documentation
• Manage a high transaction volume while maintaining strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Work effectively across multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Skills

• Previous full-cycle Accounts Receivable experience
• Strong experience with high-volume invoicing
• Experience processing and applying cash receipts
• Experience with remote check deposits
• Experience researching and processing customer deductions
• Familiarity working with customer/vendor portals
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage a significant workload independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Highly Preferred:

• NetSuite experience
• Previous manufacturing industry experience
• Manufacturing industry experience is a strong plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
