Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026–2027 school year as a dedicated provider of school-based occupational therapy services in the Kent, WA area. You'll work directly onsite, making a meaningful difference for students across K-12 grades—supporting their ability to participate fully in school activities and daily routines. This engaging role runs from August 17, 2026, through June 16, 2027, offering the chance to collaborate with school teams and families.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy licensure and certification for Washington State is required
• Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
• Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 30 students with diverse needs
• Commitment to a full-time, onsite schedule (37.5 hours per week) throughout the academic year

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy sessions to support students’ learning and participation
• Develop, implement, and review IEP goals tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain comprehensive records and provide regular progress updates
• Participate in evaluation meetings, in-services, and school-wide initiatives
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and productive environment for all students
