Position Description: About the RoleDACUT Cannabis is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cultivation Inventory Specialist to oversee inventory accuracy throughout the cultivation process. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate plant inventory, ensuring METRC compliance, auditing cultivation activities, and supporting cultivation leadership with inventory management from propagation through harvest.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced cultivation environment, enjoys working with data and compliance, and understands that inventory accuracy is critical to operational success. This role works closely with Cultivation Managers, Team Leads, Compliance, and Operations to ensure all plant movements, harvests, and inventory transactions are completed accurately and on time.Essential ResponsibilitiesInventory ManagementMaintain accurate inventory of all plants throughout the cultivation lifecycle.Monitor inventory from propagation through harvest.Perform routine inventory audits and cycle counts.Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.Ensure inventory accuracy across multiple cultivation rooms.METRC & ComplianceComplete daily METRC transactions including plant movements, waste, harvests, and tag management.Generate and maintain plant tags.Ensure all cultivation activities remain compliant with CRA regulations and company SOPs.Prepare inventory documentation for internal and regulatory audits.Work closely with the Compliance department to resolve discrepancies.Harvest CoordinationCoordinate inventory activities before, during, and after harvest.Verify harvest weights and documentation.Ensure harvested product is transferred accurately to Post-Harvest.Track inventory throughout all production stages.Reporting & DocumentationMaintain inventory reports and cultivation records.Monitor inventory trends and identify discrepancies.Assist leadership with inventory planning and forecasting.Maintain organized documentation supporting all inventory transactions.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Cultivation, Compliance, Processing, and Operations teams.Assist with process improvements that increase inventory accuracy.Support company initiatives related to compliance and operational efficiency.QualificationsRequired2+ years of inventory, cultivation, warehouse, or compliance experience.Exceptional attention to detail.Strong organizational skills.Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and inventory software.Ability to work independently.Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.PreferredCannabis cultivation experience.METRC experience.Inventory auditing experience.Experience working in regulated manufacturing or agriculture.ERP or inventory management software experience.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and climb ladders.Ability to work in cultivation environments with varying temperatures and humidity.Ability to wear required PPE.What We OfferCompetitive compensationMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid Time OffEmployee discount programCareer advancement opportunitiesCollaborative leadership teamApply TodayIf you're passionate about inventory accuracy, compliance, and supporting cultivation operations, we'd love to hear from you. Join DACUT Cannabis and help ensure the integrity of one of Michigan's premier cultivation facilities.#Cult26 Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and move up to 60 pounds regularly throughout scheduled shifts.Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods while performing daily cultivation tasks.Comfortable working in hot, humid grow environments with temperatures ranging from approximately 75–85&degree;F and humidity levels between 60–70%.Ability to work under high-intensity grow lighting for extended periods of time.Must possess strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform detailed tasks such as trimming, transplanting, cloning, pruning, and plant maintenance.Comfortable performing repetitive, detail-oriented work throughout the workday while maintaining consistency and quality standards.Ability to operate cultivation tools, irrigation equipment, sprayers, trimming equipment, and other facility systems safely and effectively.Comfortable working around cannabis plants, fertilizers, organic pesticides, soil, growing media, dust, and strong plant odors.Ability to maintain focus, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced cultivation environment with strict compliance requirements.Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented cultivation setting.Ability to follow sanitation, safety, and compliance procedures precisely while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.Comfortable moving throughout multiple grow rooms and cultivation areas during the course of a shift.Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding plant health, equipment issues, and operational needs.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
