Emergency Department RN – Emergency DepartmentShifts available include 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM and 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Candidates may work 3 or 4 shifts per week with an every-other-weekend requirement. Orientation lasts 24 hours.Assignment DetailsFloat may be required. Pre-approved time off is limited to 1 day.RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience.Patient ratio experience of 1:5.EPIC charting experience is required.Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.Preferred certifications: CPI, TCAR.Experience with a range of patient populations, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.ResponsibilitiesProvide emergency care across various age groups.Conduct triage, assessments, and procedural sedation.Administer critical care support, including care for ventilated patients.Manage trauma cases and perform dysrhythmia interpretation and management.Recognize and report infections and abuse in behavioral health cases.Administer blood products and maintain central line care.Compliance / NotesA New York RN license is required at the time of submission. Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility, with no individuals accepted within 75 miles. Background checks are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
