Project Executive - Highway & Bridge

SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We work on projects ranging from local community improvement projects to multi‑billion‑dollar infrastructure projects for the public sector. SIE is looking for a Project Executive – Highway/Bridge to oversee infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for successful construction and overall project delivery, ensuring client satisfaction. Responsibilities Overall management of large‑scale multidisciplinary highway/bridge construction projects Managing overall project team, including budget and schedule Serve as primary point of contact to the client on all project matters Overall responsibility for construction management and inspection Responsible for overall project delivery and quality Identifying and recommending candidates for the highway/bridge CI team Identifying, strategizing, and winning new projects Leading pursuits of highway/bridge projects, serving as technical lead on key pursuits Participate in strategic positioning for major regional project opportunities Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field Licensed Professional Engineer in New York 20+ years of experience in complex highway and bridge construction Experience with NYSDOT, NYCDOT, PANYNJ, NYCDDC, and other local clients Experience with design‑build projects Demonstrated ability to cultivate new clients, identify opportunities, and win work Strong relationships within the industry including agencies, consultants, and contractors Ability to take ownership and be accountable for projects and personnel Excellent communication skills and work ethic Ability to independently lead and support business development and proposal activities Ability to evaluate technical requirements, outline tasks, manpower, equipment, establish fees, scope, budgets, and schedule for projects Ability to administer all project general and technical data and reports, communicating verbally and in writing to all parties involved Compensation Expected salary range: $187,200 – $301,600 annually. Actual compensation depends on qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
