Shift: 3×12 Mids/Evenings | Thursday–Saturday | 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM

Pay Rate:

• Local: $78/hr on W2
• Travel: $3,300/Weekly

Job Description

The CT Tech will perform high-quality computed tomography imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to departmental protocols. The ideal candidate has acute care experience, strong technical skills, and is proficient in contrast administration and CT imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans following physician orders and department protocols.
• Verify patient identity, review imaging orders, and prepare patients for procedures.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining radiation safety standards.
• Administer contrast media under physician/radiologist supervision.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure all required anatomy is included.
• Operate CT equipment and imaging software effectively.
• Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Educate patients on imaging procedures and address questions or concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with infection control and safety guidelines.
• Assist with quality assurance activities and mentor students or new technologists as needed.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of CT experience (Acute Care preferred)
• ARRT(R)(CT) or ARRT(CT) – Required
• BLS Certification (AHA) – Required
