Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting and Operations Specialist to join our team! Duties

• Manage and perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy.

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation regularly to verify asset, liability, and equity account balances align with supporting documentation.

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining detailed records.

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including statements and summaries that support decision-making and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper debits & credits entries following double-entry bookkeeping standards.

• Support payroll processing, tax filings, and governmental accounting requirements as needed to ensure regulatory compliance.

Experience

• Knowledge of public accounting practices and familiarity with GAAP standards for accurate financial reporting.

• Demonstrated ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis with precision.

• Experience handling accounts payable/receivable processes along with tax preparation or related tax experience is highly desirable.

• Excellent skills in bookkeeping, journal entry creation, 10 key typing for data entry accuracy, and financial report writing.
