Frazier Contracting is seeking motivated, self-directed Roofing Sales Representatives/Project Managers to develop new business and manage customer relationships from the initial roof inspection through project completion.

Our representatives use a consultative “inform, educate, and offer” sales approach to understand each customer’s needs and provide practical roofing solutions. Our goal is to deliver an excellent customer experience that generates repeat and referral-based business.

About the Opportunity

This is primarily a self-generated sales opportunity. Representatives build their own pipelines through door-to-door outreach, networking, referrals, social media, and consistent follow-up.

Company-generated opportunities may occasionally be offered based on availability and demonstrated performance, but leads are not guaranteed.

Independent contractors manage their own schedules. However, building momentum in roofing sales requires consistent effort. We recommend that representatives who are new to the industry plan to dedicate at least 20 hours per week to prospecting during their first 90 days.

Compensation

• 1099 independent-contractor position
• Commission-only compensation with uncapped earning potential
• Open-book, performance-based profit-sharing structure
• Job profit is calculated after the 5% office fee and actual job costs are deducted from contract revenue
• $0–$249,999 in cumulative sales revenue: 35% of job profit
• $250,000–$499,999 in cumulative sales revenue: 40% of job profit
• $500,000–$749,999 in cumulative sales revenue: 45% of job profit
• $750,000 or more in cumulative sales revenue: 50% of job profit
• Sales milestones are cumulative and do not reset annually
• Once a higher profit-sharing tier is earned, the representative remains at that tier while actively contracted and in good standing
• On-target earning potential of $75,000 or more annually
• Top-performing representatives may earn between $100,000 and $200,000 annually
• Actual earnings depend on sales volume, project profitability, and individual performance and are not guaranteed
• Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes, transportation, and ordinary business expenses

Training and Support Available

• Initial orientation covering roofing systems, inspections, estimating resources, safety, documentation, and project workflow
• Optional hands-on field coaching, including ride-alongs, roof inspections, customer appointments, and door-to-door prospecting support
• Ongoing estimating, administrative, and production support
• Access to manufacturer education and product resources
• Opportunities to gain residential and commercial roofing and construction experience

Independent Contractor Responsibilities

• Independently develop new business through referrals, networking, door-to-door prospecting, and other lawful sales activities
• Manage their own schedule, appointments, prospecting activities, and customer follow-up
• Schedule and safely conduct roof inspections
• Document roofing conditions with clear photographs, measurements, and notes
• Use a consultative “inform, educate, and offer” approach to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Prepare or coordinate estimates, proposals, contracts, and material selections
• Maintain accurate customer and project information
• Serve as the primary customer contact for projects they sell
• Coordinate project details with the company’s estimating, production, and administrative teams
• Keep customers informed throughout the sales and construction process
• Collect required signatures, documents, deposits, and final payments
• Assist with final walkthroughs, project closeout, reviews, and referrals
• Represent Frazier Contracting professionally and comply with applicable laws, safety requirements, contractual obligations, and company quality standards

Qualifications

• Ability to safely climb ladders and walk on roofs
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Reliable transportation capable of carrying a ladder
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
• Valid driver’s license required
• Previous sales experience preferred
• Roofing sales experience preferred
• Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required
